My entry for scythemantis "art jam" of the japanese Sazaeoni. At the tip of the things tongue is the physical spirit of the woman who was transformed. It's not like its bait for the monster, more like the monster is an extension of the woman. All in all, I think it came out well. Guess, those art classes are paying off, huh? |

Okay, gotta talk about the rest. The idea of a Sazaeoni being like an angler fish with a maiden-lure is just brilliant. But if I were you I would have spent more time on the lure. Actually there might be details there, I'm just not seeing them because the fullview is so small. So I guess you may just need a bigger file size and not a more detailed maiden-lure. The monstrous head and limbs aren't bad, but they don't really grab the viewer's attention either.
But don't let these criticisms give you the impression that I don't like your Sazaeoni. I think you did a great job! I look forward to seeing what you create for the next contest!
